You must take the ACT in order to be considered for admission to the Life Science Academy.  Scores should be sent to Dr. Wilkerson or Ms. Jerome as soon as possible.

Picture
1. Go the following website to register for the next earliest ACT LINK HERE   (Late fees are accessed if you register late)
2. Please follow ALL directions for the test day LINK HERE  Remember you MUST get an approved ID to take the test!

3. You will be asked, when you register, to whom you would like your scores sent. You need to send your scores to Owensboro Community & Technical College and to your high school.
High school codes are:  AHS (182-033), DCHS (182-040), HCHS (181-410), OHS (182-048) & OCHS (182-045).

4. Start studying! Your middle school guidance office will have good suggestions for ACT prep. These resources
may also help: ACT Samples, The Princeton Review Test Prep and here is a list of private tutors in the area.
5. Once you receive your score report, please scan it and email it to Ms. Amanda Jerome
([email protected]). Be sure to include that you are interested in the Life Science Academy (LSA) in
    the email.

6.  If you have already taken the ACT and received at least a 18 or higher composite score you can go ahead and send your score to Ms. Amanda Jerome ([email protected]).  If you have an 18 or higher you do not need to take the ACT again.  If your score was below an 18, we advise taking the ACT in April so you can complete the application process.

What if you don't get the scores you need? What if you miss the deadlines?

Please contact Chad Wilkerson ([email protected]) or Amanda Jerome ([email protected]) in either case. We may be able to offer study tools.

Proud to be a part of Owensboro Community & Technical College & Community Campus
