Trey Kinison, OHS Junior: Social Health Sub-Group

2/13/2015

I greatly enjoyed my experience at the 2065 meeting. At the meeting, we discussed with community leaders what the future health of Owensboro should look like and how our community can achieve that goal. In my health group- social health- our discussion was focused on how the interactions between citizens in Owensboro can be improved to benefit the city's overall well being. Many of our ideas involved increased participation in local government, greater awareness of community racial diversity, and fewer barriers between the various age groups in Owensboro.
